Humour #6
Daniel Sloss
Daniel Sloss is one of my favourite British comedians. He is very clever in all the acts he does, and always manages to talk about very serious topics -disability, racism, gender inequality, death, religion, etc.- and show how absurd some behaviours or beliefs are. I specifically recommend both his shows on Netflix, if you have a subscription, it’s definitely worth it.
In this act, Daniel tackles religion, how ungrateful we can be sometimes and American racism. What a programme! He is great with his mimics, body language, connecting with his eyes, and his punchlines are always coming at the right time. I have been following him for a few years and even if I am not necessarily a big fan of how he portraits himself in real life, I do recognise his amazing talent on stage, both in the writing and the delivering of his acts.
Enjoy! And stay tuned for future videos, coming every week!
