BBC News — Live interviews and parody

This is a video I have been using in many of my training sessions over the past 5 years. It works every time, whether you had seen it before or not: you laugh because the situation is very funny. A journalist based in South Corea is interviewed live on the BBC and his children are walking into his office, soon to be removed by a lady — the nanny or their mother? The debate was huge on the Internet and spoiler: she was the mother. Everything is funny about this video: the situation, his reaction to the children, her way of taking them out. I love it and also think it creates amazing debates on unconscious bias and allows us to understand how our automatic brain works and how powerful it is to persuade us about things.

Then I discovered a parody on how a woman would/could have reacted to a similar situation and this is even funnier. Playing on stereotypes too but really well thought. I am sharing both with you this week!

What really happened
The parody

Enjoy! And stay tuned for future videos, coming every week!

For the last few years, I have been watching stand up comedy on youtube almost everyday. I have laughed, learned and laughed again thanks to a very diverse bunch of comedians. This year, I have decided to share my top favourite acts so that even more people laugh and learn!
