Oh my God, she is clever. Her first line already catch your attention and she’ll never lose it after that: “I hope all this Trump stuff… won’t make it harder… for men to become president”. What a great start! She is political, feminist, witty, unexpected and of course funny. She uses common phrases and turn them around to show how stupid they can be and by doing that she also makes us think. Even the title of her act is provocative: “Treat Nazis like you treat women” and the way she expresses the comparaison is just PERFECTLY found.
That’s what I prefer about her: she is inclusive in the way she makes the jokes but she stands for a strong message so that whatever side we are on, it makes us think, and laugh. Our brain is put upside down and we love it, we ask for more!
She is also excellent in the delivery: tone of voice, pauses at the right time, eye contact, reaction to and connexion with the audience, impressions, punchlines, etc. A comedian to look out for!
